Tracking the NYA Safety 30 "Fund"
I hope you all had an enjoyable holiday this week if you celebrate Thanksgiving. As the world potentially begins doom spending, I was creating the Notyouradvisor.com Safety 30 list. Maybe we won’t need a list like this and the AI Capex train will continue forever. But this is what I enjoy to do. What I LOVE to do.
The stocks tickers are available for free for the world to see. The Analysis on each is not. You can easily follow along by finding the Fund here on Finviz *you will need at least a free finviz account.
30 tickers, 1000 shares each at the Nov 26 closing price. I added SPY and TQQ simply for you to easily sort by % Gain as we move forward in time.
Both parts linked here. I only partitioned into two posts as I was busy with assisting in the kitchen for Thanksgiving between diaper changes and feedings with my newborn.
Some may be thinking, Chris definitely is, “how do you define safety?” As I replied to him, I will expand on this a bit. I do not have a hold for x number of years rule. As a price location trader and auction market disciple, I allow the initiative move (higher or lower) happen naturally. If a stock breaks out I am waiting for the stock to regain balance somewhere else. will that new auction break up again? Has it held important trendlines and moving averages on the pull backs? Did it break below the 50 day moving avg on heavy selling volume?
If you would like to read my full methodology and primer on Auction Market Principles:

and here
But safety to me is a stock that exhibits relative strength. When the broad market is rallying, is that safety stock also participating? If the markets are selling off, is that stock down less % wise? Possibly even up on safety rotation? Is the company going to be around or a YOLO/Momentum only stock?
So this is your “Sleep at night and I can get in and out of a $2M position without moving the market” list. So thus, no CRWV or MSTR will be found here.
BUT the tickers are not what matters here. It is the price location analysis and why each triggered me to think “yeh that is a good safety name and here are potential entries, or maybe there is no new entry at the moment.”
If you made it this far, thank you for your time and I hope you enjoy the content.
