371 US large companies went bankrupt in the first 6 months of 2025, the most in 15 years.
This is up from the 335 recorded last year and more than DOUBLE the number during the same period in 2022.
In June alone, 63 companies filed for bankruptcy, continuing a rapid monthly pace after 64 filings in May.
Industrials and consumer discretionary have led, with 58 and 49 bankruptcies, respectively, followed by 27 in healthcare.
Bankruptcies are running at crisis levels.
