What do I think? Without giving away any spoilers to the content, I believe this is all a big distraction.
I don't think any of these tech bro themed dreams will happen until the electricity needed to fuel this all can be unlocked. There will be many other pressing matters for humanity to worry about like:
water
not enough regenerative farming
degradation of people’s health
social inequality
wealth gap
climate migration / extreme weather
And the upcoming events we cannot see
Regards to AI, I suspect history will rhyme with the dot com boom/bust, and then boom. The promises all happened, just took too long for companies like AOL, Netscape, Barnes and Noble, pets.com, Myspace, Napster, and kozmo.com to benefit.
